Content
We develop and produce sophisticated stories that embrace social issues often ignored, misappropriated or ostracized.
We research the implications of social/personal needs/behavior, social agreements and interpersonal commitments in order to define a character and discover a story viewpoint and behavior pattern through truth.
We confront or ignore censorship, financial, or social pressure that tries to alter the truth. There is always an audience for a good story well told.
We combine story and character truth with mainstream storytelling methods, embracing drama, humor, arc, and conventional movie styles that enhance the story.
The backbone of the movie, the spine, is the interlocking story arc of the characters. To be believable, the actors must become the characters, not portray or play them. They should do and feel what the character does, allowing natural, organic interaction with animate or inanimate objects/people. An actor is directed to find their feelings that generate actions. Not told what to do.
Operational Tactics
The following points shall drive the work procedures.
Actors and Crew are expected to develop and be responsible for their own successful contribution in a production, understanding the goals and vision of the movie, and preparing and performing to support those goals.
CINEMA EVERITÉ
Each movie is a collaboration. Any individual who does not collaborate responsibly - hurts everyone. What you give to someone else makes everyone better.
All work that explores a social or behavioral issue and does not violate any involved person's safety, belief or morals is encouraged.
